Les Mirabelles is a small family business run by Sam and Heather. We moved to France in 2023 dreaming of a slower pace of life, more connected to nature and embedded in community.

We were lucky enough to find this little corner of paradise where our dreams came true, and we’re so happy to share it with our guests.

We offer convivial holidays grounded in gastronomy and terroir. We want to create a special place where you feel at home, where you come back again and again, where you might meet or become friends.

At Les Mirabelles you will meet like-minded people around a table filled with good food, good wine, stories and laughter. It is a place where you can connect with nature, with the culture and bounty of France and our beautiful region, and experience the best that local artisans, farmers, and vignerons have to offer, guided by laid-back, knowledgeable hosts.

Our values are simplicity and sustainability, connection and community, adventure and exploration.

We focus on making the most of simple, high-quality components, whether it’s breathing new life into un-loved flea-market finds in our gites or celebrating the beauty of good quality, local ingredients in the food we serve.

We aim to have as light a footprint on the earth as possible and to contribute to rather than impact on the local environment and community.

The accommodation and cuisine reflect the diverse and eclectic backgrounds, tastes and experiences of us, your hosts.

Les Mirabelles is 1 hr 20 minutes from Toulouse Airport, and just over an hour from Rodez Airport. We highly recommend hiring a car so you can make the most of our beautiful region while you are here.

Les Mirabelles is just 35 minutes from the A20, the main motorway heading South from Paris. It’s 9 hrs 15 minutes from the Eurotunnel terminal in Calais, and just under 8hrs from the Ferry terminal in Saint-Malo. We are findable on all SatNavs using the above address.

The nearest main-line train station is Caussade, which is 30 minutes away. There are regular trains from Paris to Caussade, which take around 6 hours. For a quicker journey, the TGV stops at Montauban, or Toulouse, where you can pick up a local train to Lexos, which is just 12km from us, and where we would be happy to collect guests choosing to travel by public transport. We would highly recommend hiring electric bikes to get around once you’re here, and would be happy to arrange this for you.
